Avenue Acoustic Duo provides live professional entertainment if a full party band is impractical. We keep your guests entertained without being too loud.

Our set list provides tasteful wedding breakfast music or background music for the ceremony, reception or wedding breakfast, and livelier numbers when evening entertainment singalongs or dancing are required.

The harp is a popular form of entertainment for weddings and it is surprisingly versatile. I have been performing at weddings for over five years and have never seen two weddings the same. I have played at everything from a simple church ceremony with 30 guests to an elaborate and extravagant Greek wedding reception with over 500 guests! I have also played at many civil ceremonies, civil partnerships, and receptions in barns, school halls, marquees, restaurants, leisure centres, living rooms and the open air.

I have been performing professionally since I was sixteen years old and have played at a vast range of venues, and for various well known clients including the RAF, Mills and Reeve (legal services), and Cambridge University.

I have also won several awards and prizes for musical performance including, most recently, the Dorothea and Rowan Hare Award for outstanding performance (awarded annually to the most promising at UEA).
